Sustainable Energy for All (SE4A) Project
XSIGHTS carried out a baseline study for SE4A initiative in Turkey and reported to Global Compact, Accenture and the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TUSIAD). SE4A Project focused on motivating industry leaders to invest in sustainable energy solutions such as solar panels or wind tribunes. XSIGHTS identified the sustainable energy actions and investments of the leading Turkish companies in 19 different sectors and compared them with companies in the UK and the USA. Based on the results, the report on sustainable energy opportunities for businesses was widely shared with industry leaders.
The Promise of Cardamom/Evaluation of Value Chain Project: Cardamon is a cash crop in Eastern Nepal. Mercy Corps implemented a project in which farmers were taught better ways of drying cardamom seeds so that the process would not cause the loss of precious oils. The project aimed at increasing farmers’ capacity for better bookkeeping, negotiating, and communicating with the end clients. Industry Productivity Map for the Turkish Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology
XSIGHTS conducted face-to-face interviews with the representatives of 10,063 manufacturers in 52 cities. The aim of the study was to map out the level of productivity in industrial organisations to formulate the best social policies for increased performance of the economy. To this date, this survey is the largest ad-hoc survey among SMEs.
Support to Development of a Policy Framework on Total Factor Productivity Project
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) aims to improve the contribution of total factor productivity to growth. Specific objective of the project was to improve the institutional capacities to formulate and implement sector policies and strategies that contribute towards national competitiveness. For this purpose, UNDP Turkey required conducting a comprehensive survey with 2500 SMEs in 49 cities in Turkey. XSIGHTS conducted the surveys for this pivotal study with a hybrid methodology that included online + telephone and face-to-face methods combined)
Marketing Practices of Young Entrepreneurs in Turkey – What We Learned from Refugee Entrepreneurs and Entrepreneurs in Turkey
Building Markets Turkey in cooperation with the “The Future is Brighter Youth Platform commissioned this survey. The study was completed in May 2022 with 52 Syrian and 48 young entrepreneurs using Computer Assisted Web Interviewing (CAWI)and Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) methods. Consultation for UNDP IPA Funds
The ministry of Industry and Technology commissioned XSIGHTS to conduct a multi-stakeholder consultation prior to the preparation of the Strategy Document.
