Refugeehood is not only a legal status, it is also a lived experience tied to identity, belonging, and the perception of the future. From the United States to Türkiye, from Europe to the Middle East, governments and communities are grappling with historic levels of migration and the challenges of integration.

This webinar, hosted by Xsights Research & Consultancy, will use the experience of Syrians in Türkiye as a case study to spark a global conversation about migration and belonging,one with urgent lessons for the U.S. immigration debate. Drawing on Xsights’ landmark study, “Syrians in Türkiye and the New Political Era: Perceptions, Attitudes, and Expectations,” we will explore how identity, settlement, and policy interact in ways that matter far beyond the Middle East.
